Unfortunately, even the most obedient dog can be an Houdini on occasion and a driver could easily be killed or injured if an animal strayed onto the track, whether by escaping from the car or slipping off the lead.  If you are on holiday with your dog you will be asked to park outside of the circuit and to walk down to the paddock.
There will be somewhere to buy light refreshments during the day.
Yes, they are very welcome.  If they watch from the pit wall please take great care when crossing the pit lane, or if they watch from the upper storey of the control building then we ask that you take care when coming down the metal staircase.  Children should be well supervised at all times.
Yes, it is usually possible to do so.  Also, High Speed Rides are available on the day and so you can 'get your own back' on the person who bought you your voucher!
It depends on the course.  We ask you to allow 2-3 hours for an FRCT 1 course.  The time in the car for a Lotus Encounter is about 30 minutes but with signing-on and possibly waiting for an earlier course to finish you should allow an hour.  For the saloon car driving technique and Lotus driving technique courses you should allow 60-90 minutes as there is a break between the sessions for you to think about your performance and your instructors comments.  Don't forget that the adrenaline will make you feel tired - this is a different environment to driving on the road;  the gear changing and braking points are different and require a mental adjustment.
It can rain in the summer and be fine in the Winter, you just can't anticpate what will happen on Anglesey.  Whatever the conditions, the instructors are constantly assessing whether it is safe to run.  If they consider the rain or wind too strong then they may suspend activities for half an hour to see whether it improves.  They may decide that it is unsafe to run the single-seaters in which case they may offer a Lotus or Saloon car course or, of course, we would honour your voucher on another day.  The school also has waterproofs and gloves for drivers to use if necessary.
The single seaters vary slightly in size and although we might ask your height beforehand, it really depends whether the length is in your body or legs!  On the day, if you don't feel comfortable or we don't think you'll be safe then we will offer to change your course to a Lotus/Saloon course.
Any driver damaging a PDC car automatically forfeits the remainder of their training or ’experience’.
On the day, please arrive in plenty of time to sign an indemnity to acknowledge the risks in what you are about to do and to be fitted with a helmet;  if you are doing a single seater course we will also ask you to wear a race suit.  And then it's on with the course. The content will vary depending on which course you book.
